Lyme bay swimming camp in Fuerteventura Spain 2025

Description: This winter, we are again heading to Playitas Resort, Fuerteventura for some great weeks of swimming in both the pool and open water. On 25th January, it's introduction to Open Water Swimming week, ideal for those who would like to make the transition from the pool to the sea or relative novices in the open water. The week would suit beginners to intermediate fitness swimmers looking to improve their confidence in the sea and swimming technique. On 1st March, the swimming is more geared towards Masters, keen fitness swimmers or Triathletes looking to make improvements in swim leg of a Triathlon, Aquathlon or challenge type swim and really kick start the season. The pool sessions will be in their lovely 50 metre outdoor pool with skills and drills to help refine the stroke and gain confidence and experience for the open water too. The open water sessions will be held in the beautiful sheltered bay at Las Playitas plus other beaches and locations on the island, subject to weather conditions. For those that want it, there opportunities to take part in the other activities the resort has to offer with Yoga, various fitness classes, tennis, golf, cycling and running easily available.
