About This Camp

WELCOME TO PICKLEBALL – Olympia Sports Camp

Introducing Olympia Sports Camp’s Pickleball program! All levels of skill are welcome to participate in the rapidly expanding sport of North America. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, our program offers something for everyone.

For inexperienced players, our priority is to develop a strong foundation in essential skills, all within a welcoming and encouraging environment. Seasoned players will enhance stroke execution and match play strategies, while executing advanced tactics and techniques.

Players of all levels can enhance and perfect their Pickleball abilities in both singles and doubles, within a spirited and challenging atmosphere. Our instructors are certified nationally, offering expert guidance throughout the camp.

Camp Features:

  • ⏱️ 4-5 hours of daily court time with our instructors, playing both singles and doubles
  • 🎯 Assessing and grouping player skill levels
  • 📚 Mastering the rules and scoring
  • 🏓 Specialized instruction, drills, match & tournament play
  • ⚡ Fundamental groundstrokes, volleys, serves, returns, and overheads
  • 🥏 Specialized shots including dinks, third-shot drops, various spins, and lobs
  • 🎯 Match play strategies including court coverage, offensive & defensive tactics, and shot selection
  • 🌅 Day/Evening scheduled programs led by Olympia staff members
  • 🚣 Accessibility to the camp’s waterfront activities, gymnasiums, sports fields, climbing walls, and ropes courses
