We’re Upwind Snowkiting — a snowkite school and base located directly on the Hardangervidda plateau in Norway, one of Europe’s most iconic snowkiting areas. Enjoy a true kite-out-the-door experience.
Our camps are suitable for all levels:
• complete beginners
• kitesurfers transitioning from water to snow
• intermediate and advanced snowkiters looking to improve their riding
• experienced riders interested in guided exploration and longer tours across Hardangervidda
Each day is adapted to the wind, snow conditions and riders’ levels. Our instructors combine lessons, progression and guiding, helping you improve your riding, discover new terrain and experience more of Hardangervidda.
Camp life
The week is about more than just the hours on the snow. Depending on the program, guests can enjoy morning stretching, yoga sessions, evening sauna and plenty of time with our instructors at the base.
Alternative winter activities such as cross-country skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing are also available for low-wind days.
Accommodation & full board
The camp must be booked together with accommodation at our Fagerheim Snowkiting Base. Accommodation package: 14,980 NOK per person
• 7 nights’ accommodation in double rooms in apartments (Shared bathroom for 4 guests)
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Pick-up from the train station or free parking on-site
• Snowkite pick-up when needed
