Atlanta Celtics MTAG Basketball Player Development Camp Week 3 — 2027

Youth Basketball Development Camp in Atlanta, Georgia

Train, learn, and grow through basketball at Atlanta Celtics MTAG Basketball Player Development Camp Week 3 — 2027.

This 5-day youth basketball camp takes place from July 12–16, 2027 at Saint Philip AME Church in Atlanta, Georgia. It is open to youth athletes aged 7–14 and welcomes players of all skill levels.

The camp is designed to be more than a basic basketball clinic. MTAG focuses on basketball development, confidence, respect, friendship, cooperation, and positive character growth. The Atlanta Celtics describe the program as a safe, structured, and fun environment where athletes can build self-confidence, master basketball skills, deepen respect for themselves and others, and make new friends.

Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Optional extended care is available before and after the regular camp day, with Pre-Program from 7:00–9:00 a.m. and Post-Program from 4:00–6:00 p.m.

The program promotes daily expectations such as having fun, being kind, cooperation, enthusiasm, good attitude, and positive language. Player development goals from the handbook include self-control, alertness, initiative, intentness, condition and skill, team spirit, poise, confidence, and competitive greatness.

This Week 3 session is especially useful for young athletes who want to stay active in July, improve their basketball skills, and participate in a supervised program that combines athletic learning with life skills.

Athletes should bring daily items such as lunch, snacks, water bottle, backpack, and basketball gear requested by the coach. The handbook also notes that electronics, candy, caffeinated drinks, and valuables should be left at home.
