🏒 Powerskating Development in the Italian Dolomites

Join Pro Hockey Europe in Val Gardena for a focused skating camp led by Kris Beech, a former NHL player and first-round draft selection.

The program concentrates on the mechanics behind effective movement, with individual corrections helping players refine their technique.

⚡ Skating Skills

On-ice work addresses:

⛸️ Body position and knee bend
🚀 Acceleration and explosive starts
🔄 Crossovers and tight turns
🏒 Forward-to-backward transitions
🛡️ Backwards skating, pivots and recovery

📊 Testing & Feedback

Players undergo initial skating assessment and on-ice testing, followed by another evaluation at the end of the program. Training progresses through balance, edge control and explosive movement.

Video analysis is available as an optional paid addition.

💪 Off-Ice Development

A dedicated off-ice coach teaches exercises and technique intended to support skating performance and continued independent training.

👥 Player Groups

Players born 1995–2019 are eligible. At least two seasons of hockey experience are required, with advanced ability recommended. Three groups are organized by age and skill.

🏔️ Stay in Selva Val Gardena

The camp is based in Selva, surrounded by the Dolomites. Players booking accommodation through the organizer stay at Astor Suites Hotel, close to the rink.

Families can arrange their own accommodation and use their visit to explore the valley’s villages, hiking routes and mountain scenery. Family stays should be booked directly with the chosen accommodation provider.

🍽️ Camp Package

The €699 day-camp fee includes daily lunch. Optional supervised accommodation with full board costs €68 per night.

The booking form offers four-, five- and six-night stays. Card payment carries a listed €15 supplement; bank transfer is also offered.
