Join UCT International’s sixth Thailand winter camp, taking place from 02/23/2027–02/27/2027 in Bangkok.
The programme combines Chinese martial arts, internal training and practical applications, with a special focus on responding to conflict situations.
👨🏫 Camp Instructors
Training will be led by Sifu Benno Wai from the Netherlands and a guest Taiji master whose identity is yet to be announced.
☯️ Training Programme
The advertised curriculum draws from:
🥋 Wing Chun
☯️ Taiji
🧘 Nei Gong
🤝 Chi Sau and Tui Shou
🛡️ Qin Na
⚡ Yi Quan principles
🧘 Understanding Internal Practice
UCT describes Nei Gong as a practice involving held positions and repeated, controlled movements. Exercises alternate tension and relaxation, encouraging awareness of how the body moves.
Within UCT’s wider teaching approach, this work develops attention to both internal and external movement. It complements the practical martial arts focus by giving participants another way to explore body control and coordination.
🛡️ Practical Wing Chun
UCT’s Practical Wing Chun teaching centres on applicable self-defence skills. Its broader approach also considers mental resilience, physical fitness and health.
Technical learning is central to the system, with an emphasis on developing skills through consistent practice.
⏰ Daily Training Schedule
Sessions are planned for approximately 09:00–13:00, with short breaks:
🧘 Around 2.5 hours of internal training
🥋 Around 1.5 hours of situational applications
The final programme is still being developed.

The instructors will stay at The Landmark Bangkok on Sukhumvit Road. Participants are encouraged to book there but may choose other accommodation.
Training is planned either inside the hotel or in a nearby park.
