This 4-day adult ice hockey camp takes place from August 19–22, 2027 at Rockville Ice Arena in Rockville, Maryland, with convenient access from Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. The camp page states that Weekend Warriors is returning to DC and hosting the camp at Rockville Ice Arena.
The camp is designed for adult recreational hockey players of different levels. New players can receive proper guidance through early development, while experienced players can work on technical correction, decision-making, skating, puck skills, and game habits.
Players receive 12 hours of on-ice instruction from Weekend Warriors’ coaching staff. The program includes skating work, puck handling, passing, shooting, positioning, game awareness, confidence development, and practical instruction that players can use in their own adult league games.
Off the ice, players take part in chalk talks and video review sessions. Goalies receive special attention through a goalie-specific curriculum and goalie video review. Women are welcome at Weekend Warriors camps, and the environment is built to be supportive, social, and improvement-focused.
The camp includes Thursday orientation, “Break the Ice” social, six ice sessions, video review, chalk talks, Saturday camp banquet, custom jersey, socks, and swag. Lodging and transportation are not included.
