This 7-day youth ski camp takes place from June 13–19, 2027 at Windells Ski Camp / Wy’East Campus near Mt. Hood, Oregon. The camp welcomes boys and girls aged 9–20 and is suitable for skiers of different ability levels, from newer skiers learning the basics to advanced freeski athletes working on park progression, air awareness, rails, jumps, and personal goals.
Windells gives young athletes the rare opportunity to ski on real summer snow at Mt. Hood, one of North America’s most famous summer ski destinations. Campers train with professional coaches who help them improve technique, balance, confidence, control, style, and overall mountain performance.
The camp is not only about skiing. After time on the mountain, campers return to the private Wy’East Campus, a large action-sports environment with dryland progression facilities, trampolines, air bags, dry slope features, skateparks, games, social spaces, activities, and evening programs. This gives campers the chance to keep progressing even after the ski day ends.
Windells is designed to support every camper’s development in a safe, structured, and fun environment. Skiers are grouped by ability, goals, and experience, allowing each athlete to progress at the right pace. Newer skiers can build fundamentals and confidence, while experienced skiers can focus on freestyle, freeride, park skills, jumps, rails, landings, and personal progression.
Overnight campers experience the full camp lifestyle with lodging, meals, supervision, camp activities, friendships, and evening events. Day campers can join the daytime training and activities while staying off-campus. Windells also offers special pathways such as Soft Start™ for newer campers, Freeski Focus™ for athletes wanting more ski progression, Windells Girl™ activities, and Groms™ support for younger campers.
