Kona delivered a weekend of late drama as Taylor Knibb and Vincent Luis won the 2026 IRONMAN World Championship titles in Hawaii on 10/10/2026.
Both professional races changed in their closing stages, providing a gripping conclusion to a day of swimming, cycling and running.

Germany’s Laura Philipp finished second in 8:39:34, with Switzerland’s Julie Derron third in 8:46:25.
In the men’s race, France’s Vincent Luis claimed victory on his IRONMAN World Championship debut, finishing in 7:47:27. Norway’s Gustav Iden took second in 7:49:03, followed by American Matthew Marquardt in 7:49:59.

For TopSportsCamps.com readers, a useful next step is to look closely at how sessions are organized, what feedback is offered and whether the program allows flexibility.
