Description: 3 DAY PREMIUM GOALIE CAMPS IN FINLAND When: Year around Email me to ask about next set dates and planned dates Where: Espoo, Finland (Capital area) How many goalies: Maximum of 4 goalies on the ice Camp structure: A one 2 hour session / day Light coordination focused dryland before ice sessions and stretching after the ice Ice session structure: A typical session starts with easy technical drills which serve also as a warm-up. Then we will alternate movement drills and easier drills to maintain energy levels. Towards the end of the ice, we will do high-speed game situation drills and have more movement. The goal of training sessions is not to make you tired and exhausted because we want to focus on technique. We will gradually increase the tempo and avoid maximum heart rate or lactate build so your body and mind can focus on learning new techniques. You don’t need to worry about being in perfect shape or how good you are at the moment because training is adjusted to your current level whether you are a pro or beginner. Shooters: Shooters are top U20 - pro players. Having good shooter is critical to your development because they will expose weaknesses and force you to improve bad habits. Good shooters can also also adjust the level of shots when there are younger goalies in the net. That is why I can have U10-pro goalies on the ice at the same time. 2023 summer camp we had a combination of 50-100 NHL games and 200+ junior national team games among the shooters.
