Girls’ Ice Hockey Camp in Öckerö, Sweden

Challenge yourself, improve your hockey skills, and experience North American-style training at Bluechip Girls Hockey Camp 2027.

This 1-day ice hockey camp takes place on 23 April 2027 at Öckerö Ishall in Öckerö, Sweden, near Gothenburg. The camp is designed for girls born 2008–2012 who want to develop as hockey players in a high-quality, high-tempo training environment.

The camp is organized by Bluechip Athletics together with experienced North American hockey coaches. The program is inspired by American hockey culture, with focus on tempo, details, strong team culture, competitive exercises, skill development, and confidence both on and off the ice.

Players take part in training sessions with experienced American coaches who teach techniques and strategies used in North American hockey. The camp combines technical skill work, game-like exercises, competition, mental challenge, and player education, helping athletes understand what it takes to develop toward higher levels.

The camp also includes an educational part about hockey and studies in North America. Players receive information about Prep School, High School, Junior Hockey, and College Hockey, including academic requirements, amateur rules, licensing questions, and student-athlete life. A panel discussion and Q&A with the coaches gives players and families the chance to ask questions and better understand possible future hockey pathways.

Bluechip has arranged showcases and camps since 2005 and limits this camp to maximum 24 outfield players and 4 goalkeepers, divided into two groups / teams during the day. This helps give players more ice time, better coach attention, and a more personal development experience.

The camp includes at least 3 hours of ice time, lunch with the coaches, snack, Bluechip T-shirt, loan training jersey, and a personal post-camp review by Zoom about the player’s opportunities to study and play hockey in the USA or Canada.

The ice sessions are filmed and may be used by participants who want to continue in a Bluechip process and create material for future High School, Junior Hockey, or College Hockey opportunities.

This camp is ideal for serious girls’ hockey players who want a challenging training day, North American coaching inspiration, and guidance about future hockey and education opportunities abroad.
