Challenge yourself, improve your goalkeeper skills, and experience North American-style goalie training at Bluechip Boys Goalie Camp 2027.
This 1-day ice hockey goalkeeper camp takes place on 22 April 2027 at Öckerö Ishall in Öckerö, Sweden, near Gothenburg. The camp is designed for boys born 2007–2011 who play as ice hockey goalkeepers and want focused, high-quality development in a serious training environment.
The camp is organized by Bluechip Athletics in cooperation with Green Mountain Goaltending, USA. The training is inspired by North American hockey culture, with high tempo, strong attention to detail, competitive exercises, mental strength, and a constant focus on challenging each goalkeeper to improve.
This is not a general hockey camp for all positions. It is a goalkeeper-specific camp, built around the technical, tactical, mental, and performance demands of the goalie position. Goalkeepers work on movement, technique, game strategy, positioning, pressure handling, focus, confidence, and match-situation performance.
A key part of the camp is the opportunity to train with experienced American goalkeeper coaches. The ice sessions are led by Shea Spanier, founder and owner of Green Mountain Goaltending in Vermont, USA. The camp also includes coaching and insight from staff connected to North American Prep / High School and Junior Hockey environments.
The camp also has a strong educational element. Players receive information about the North American hockey pathway, including Prep School, High School, Junior Hockey, and College Hockey. The program includes presentations, Q&A, and a panel discussion with coaches, helping players and families better understand future hockey and study opportunities abroad.
Bluechip also highlights that the ice sessions are filmed and may be used by participants who want to move forward in a Bluechip process and create material for future hockey opportunities.
The camp is limited to maximum 10 goalkeepers, giving each player more attention, more repetitions, and a more personal development experience. Lunch with the coaches, snack, Bluechip T-shirt, and loan training jersey are included.
This camp is ideal for serious young goalkeepers who want a full day of focused goalie development, North American training inspiration, and guidance about future hockey pathways.
