Description: Horsens IC and BGI academy provide the sharpest coaching team and invite all 10-15 year old boys and girls to lots of challenges physically, technically, tactically and mentally. Look forward to intensive training sessions, fun activities, matches and plenty of playing time. All while you dribble away in our beautiful surroundings. The overall focus of the basketball camp is that you develop your individual skills in interaction with the other boys and girls at the camp. The camp focuses on: Ball handling combined with go by moves and lay-ups. The very basics of executing shots, from form shooting, to set shots and on to jump shots. Focus on 1 on 1 movements, specifically footwork and creating space against your direct defender. Focus on teamwork – especially in attack – where we work on give and go, back-cut and spacing. Focus on defense in 1 on 1 situations, fast break situations and some rotations in team defense situations. Every day you work with the team you are assigned to. This means you have a permanent coach and a permanent team that you play matches with every evening. You eat and live at the school and thus gain insight into after-school life at the BGI academy. In the evening we have fun with various after-school activities where you get to know the other boys and girls even better. Practical information Price: DKK 1,395 including meals, training, CRAFT t-shirt, after-school activities and accommodation in cozy student rooms. *We reserve the right to cancel if there are too few registrants*
