Your first full day will be a masterclass in Adams swim stroke technique in the lagoon at the hotel (no swimming pools on this trip!). Then each day we will take you out on our private boat to explore the stunning 29 degree crystal clear waters, incredible marine life, reefs and white sandy beaches of the Maldives – putting into practice what you have learned and being coached throughout with detailed video analysis sessions so you can really see how you progress through the week. Topped off with a sunset BBQ and snorkeling.

This course is suitable for open water swimming beginners to advanced. The sea swims will work so that all abilites can work to their own level, and push themselves as much or as little as they wish.
You will be accompanied on each swim by Adam Walker (record breaking open water swimmer, Oceans7, Ice Miler, 2 Way Windermere) and partner Gemma Clarke, qualified coaches in the Ocean Walker Technique, as well as a safety kayaking crew.

The Ocean Walker Stroke Technique was created by Adam Walker following shoulder injuries sustained during his first channel swim. The technique enabled Adam to continue and successfully complete 6 more channels, breaking records along the way and earning him the title, 1stBrit to complete the Oceans 7. The Ocean Walker technique looks effortless, and as well as being efficient in the water, you are not putting as much pressure on your shoulders as you would with a conventional front crawl. The use of core muscles, a still head and a 90 degree hip rotation are just a few of the key elements to this stroke that differentiates it to other techniques, and you are learning directly from the man who created it.
Open water temperatures fluctuate between 28-30 degrees celcius.
