Road to Benfica Campus Easter Edition 2027
Experience the training environment, methodology and competitive culture of one of Europe’s best-known football academies at Road to Benfica Campus Easter Edition 2027.
This 8-day international football program takes place from 22–29 March 2027 at the Benfica Campus in Seixal, Portugal, with additional tournament matches in the Lisbon region. The program is created by Sport Lisboa e Benfica for boys’ and girls’ teams from U11 to U19 that want an immersive high-performance football experience.
Unlike an individual open-enrollment football camp, Road to Benfica Campus is a team-based program. Players must participate through their club or academy; individual registrations are not accepted. SL Benfica’s Technical Coordination reviews and validates participating teams.
The program brings teams directly into the Benfica development environment. Players take part in daily training sessions with qualified SL Benfica coaches, following the methodology, intensity and development principles used within the club’s youth system. Training is designed to develop both individual and collective performance, including technical ability, tactical understanding, decision-making, competitiveness and team organization.
After the initial days of training and preparation, teams move into the competitive part of the experience by participating in an international youth tournament in the Lisbon region, such as the Lisbon Youth Cup or IberCup. Benfica coaches remain involved during the competitive phase and work together with the visiting team’s own coaching staff.
The package is designed as a complete football experience. Players receive full-board accommodation, daily Benfica training, tournament participation, an official SL Benfica training kit and backpack, transfers between the hotel and Benfica Campus, sports and health insurance, individual evaluations and a participation certificate.
Meals are prepared according to guidelines from Benfica’s Nutrition Department, giving young athletes exposure not only to training but also to the routines surrounding high-performance football.
Participants also visit the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica and the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião, connecting the academy experience with the history and identity of the club.
A dedicated team supervisor is available 24/7, making the program suitable for international teams travelling to Portugal for an intensive football development and competition experience.
This program is particularly suited to established youth clubs and academies looking for more than a traditional football camp: professional coaching, international competition, team development and direct exposure to the Benfica football environment.
