Swim for Tri Italian Swim Technique Camp 2027
Spend a week developing your swimming technique with the Swim for Tri Italian Swim Technique Camp, taking place from 6β13 June 2027 at Hotel Beau Soleil in Cesenatico on Italyβs Adriatic coast.
This seven-night adult swimming camp combines intensive pool coaching, optional open-water swimming, video analysis and yoga in a small-group environment. Participation is limited to just 12 swimmers, with approximately six swimmers per coach, allowing plenty of individual attention and technical feedback throughout the week.
The camp is led by experienced Swim for Tri coaches Keeley Bullock and Maria Pedraza. Keeley has decades of swimming-teaching experience and competed at national level, while Maria is a Level 2 swimming teacher, open-water official and British Triathlon Level 1 coach with experience across swimming and triathlon.
A typical training day includes two coached pool sessions, giving swimmers the opportunity to work consistently on stroke technique, efficiency and fitness.
Training is supported by classroom video review, helping participants see their stroke from a different perspective and understand the technical changes recommended by the coaches.
Depending on conditions, swimmers can also join an optional morning sea swim, providing an opportunity to transfer pool skills into an open-water environment.
The camp is suitable for adult swimmers looking to become more efficient, confident and technically skilled in the water. Swim for Tri works with swimmers and triathletes across a broad range of abilities, from developing swimmers through experienced endurance athletes.
Each morning includes a poolside yoga session led by yoga teacher Kirty Mody. Yoga complements the swimming program by supporting mobility, flexibility, body awareness and recovery. Participants can also arrange additional one-to-one yoga sessions separately.
The camp is based at Hotel Beau Soleil, a family-run hotel in Cesenatico located beside the sea and surrounded by pine forest. The hotel has its own heated 25-metre semi-Olympic swimming pool, making it possible to combine accommodation and swim training in one location.
A typical day begins with an optional sea swim and yoga, followed by breakfast, video review, a late-morning pool session, free time during the afternoon and a second pool session before dinner.
Swimmers should bring their own training equipment, including fins, hand paddles, pull buoy and centre snorkel. A wetsuit and tow float are recommended for participants joining the optional sea swims.
With small groups, twice-daily pool training, video feedback, open-water opportunities and yoga, the camp offers a focused week for adults who want to improve technique while enjoying a relaxed Italian coastal setting.
