With programs in St Andrews and Dollar, the collection brings together professional coaching, on-course learning and opportunities to make friends through a shared love of golf.
Experience behind the coaching
RV Golf Schools is led by PGA Professional Rick Valentine, who has been running junior golf camps since 2003.
The programs combine two hours of professional group coaching each day with scheduled golf and on-course development. Alongside golfing skills, the experience encourages confidence, independence and friendships.
Four programs for different stages of development
Choosing a camp should begin with the golfer’s age, experience and confidence on the course.
Development — ages 7–11: For younger golfers starting out or building confidence. No handicap or previous competitive experience is required.
Ultimate — ages 10–18: For juniors looking to combine coaching with varied Scottish golf experiences. An official handicap is not required.
Hidden Gems — ages 12–18: For established 18-hole golfers with an official handicap, offering opportunities to develop course management across characterful Scottish courses.
Signature — ages 14–18: For established 18-hole golfers with a handicap of 15 or better who are ready for a more challenging program.
Optional High Performance Coaching is available as a paid enhancement to Ultimate, Hidden Gems and Signature programs.

Residential or non-residential?
St Andrews programs offer residential and non-residential options. Residential stays include accommodation, meals, staff support and evening activities. Non-residential places include lunch, with families arranging accommodation and daily transport.
The Open Week programs in Dollar are residential only.
