Bedford Blues July Rugby Camp 2027
Join the Bedford Blues July Rugby Camp 2027, taking place from 27–29 July 2027 at Bedford Blues Rugby Club’s Goldington Road ground.
The camp is designed for young players from Under 7 to Under 12 and welcomes both children who already play rugby and those who are just getting started. Over three days, participants work with Blues Foundation community coaches and professional players in a fun, supportive and development-focused environment.
The program follows the Blues Foundation’s whole-rugby approach, combining technical skill development with teamwork, decision-making and game-based learning. Sessions are designed to challenge players at an appropriate level while helping each child build confidence and enjoy the sport.
Training can include:

✅ Running with the ball
✅ Evasion and movement
✅ Attacking skills
✅ Defensive awareness
✅ Teamwork and communication
✅ Decision-making
✅ Small-sided rugby games
✅ Match-based activities
✅ Confidence and individual development
Players are grouped as appropriately as possible according to age, with coaches focusing on individual progress and helping each participant continue developing for the next rugby season.
Each camp day runs from 10:00–15:00 at Goldington Road. The camp offers young players the chance to train in a professional rugby-club environment while staying active, learning new skills and enjoying three days of rugby during the summer holidays
