Full-Day Youth Surf Camp near Lisbon

Spend the start of the school holidays learning to surf at Duckdive Surf 4 Kids Summer Camp Week 2 2027.

Running from 28 June–2 July 2027, this 5-day program takes place at Praia do Castelo, one of the surf beaches of Costa da Caparica. Children aged 6–16 spend each day from 09:30–16:30 taking part in supervised surf, SUP and beach activities.

Duckdive keeps groups intentionally small, normally with one certified instructor for every 4–5 campers. This gives young surfers more individual attention and allows coaches to adapt boards, exercises and progression to each child’s current level.

Beginners learn how to become comfortable with surf equipment and the ocean, understand basic safety rules, perform the take-off and find a stable surfing position. As confidence grows, campers practise catching waves independently, riding whitewater in both directions and, when sea conditions permit, progressing to waves before they break.

Participants receive the equipment necessary for the program, including surfboard, wetsuit and rash vest. The camp also provides shower and changing facilities, separate restrooms and a secure place for belongings.

Personal accident and public liability insurance are included. Optional professional transport and full lunch packages make the camp practical for families staying around Lisbon, Almada, Setúbal or Costa da Caparica.

This week offers a combination of skill development, ocean confidence, exercise and beach fun in a supervised environment.
