Develop surf skills and ocean confidence at Duckdive Surf 4 Kids Summer Camp Week 3 2027.
The camp runs from 5–9 July 2027 at beautiful Praia do Castelo in Costa da Caparica. Designed for ages 6–16, the program provides a full day of supervised activities from 09:30–16:30.
Campers are divided into small groups and train with certified surf instructors. With approximately one instructor for every 4–5 children, each participant can receive more individual feedback and follow a progression suited to their experience.
Training starts with equipment familiarization, ocean adaptation and safety. Children then work on the take-off, basic surfing stance, catching waves with or without coach assistance and controlling the board through whitewater. More experienced participants can progress toward catching unbroken waves when conditions are appropriate.
Dynamic surf and SUP sessions keep the week varied. All essential surfing equipment—board, wetsuit and rash vest—is included.
The camp provides a safe beach-based environment with showers, changing facilities, restrooms and space to store belongings. Personal accident and liability insurance are also included.
This program is particularly suitable for children who want an active holiday, learn a new sport or continue progressing their existing surf skills.
