Three-Day Youth Rugby Camp in Bedford, England

Join the Bedford Blues October Rugby Camp 2026, taking place from 27–29 October 2026 at Bedford Blues Rugby Club’s Goldington Road ground.

The three-day camp is designed for young players from Under 7 through Under 12 and welcomes both children who already play rugby and those who are just beginning their rugby journey. The program combines structured rugby development with fun, engaging sessions designed to challenge every player at an appropriate level.

Players work with Blues Foundation community coaches and professional rugby players, giving young athletes an opportunity to develop their skills in the environment of Bedford Blues Rugby Club.

The camp follows a whole-rugby approach, helping players develop the technical, physical and team-based skills needed to become more confident rugby players.

Training focuses on areas such as:

✅ Movement and evasion
✅ Rugby decision-making
✅ Teamwork and communication
✅ Attacking skills
✅ Defensive understanding
✅ Small-sided rugby games
✅ Match-based activities

Sessions are structured to be both challenging and enjoyable, allowing players to develop through games, coaching activities and practical rugby situations.

Players are grouped as appropriately as possible according to age, helping children train with others at a similar stage of development. The coaching team focuses on supporting each individual player and helping them continue progressing into the next rugby season.

The camp runs from 10:00–15:00 each day at Goldington Road, the home of Bedford Blues. The environment combines professional-club surroundings with an inclusive community coaching approach.

The camp is suitable for young players who want to improve their rugby skills, gain more confidence, stay active during the October school break and enjoy three days of rugby alongside other enthusiastic players.
