This final listed summer week runs from 9–13 August 2027 at Praia do Castelo, Costa da Caparica. The full-day program is designed for children and teenagers aged 6–16 and runs from 09:30–16:30.
Certified surf instructors supervise all sessions, with small groups of approximately 4–5 children per coach. This allows the program to be adapted to both beginners and campers who already have surf experience.
Children begin with equipment familiarity, water adaptation and surf-safety rules before progressing through take-offs, basic stance and wave catching. More experienced participants can work on directional riding and, when sea conditions permit, catching unbroken waves.
The camp also features SUP sessions, creating additional opportunities for balance, coordination and water confidence.
All essential surfing equipment is included: surfboard, wetsuit and rash vest. The beach base offers changing, shower and storage facilities, and participants are covered by personal accident and public liability insurance.
Families can optionally add professional transport or a complete lunch package.
This final 2027 summer week provides a fun and structured way to end the school holidays with surfing, outdoor activity and new ocean skills.
