Kidshockey.lv International Summer Hockey Camp Valmiera 2027 β Session 1
Spend six intensive days developing hockey skills, skating technique, physical preparation and game understanding at the Kidshockey.lv International Summer Hockey Camp, taking place from 28 Juneβ3 July 2027 at the Valmiera Olympic Centre in Latvia.
The camp is designed for young hockey players born 2011β2019 and combines a high-volume training schedule with professional coaching, residential accommodation, recovery time and social activities.
Players are divided into two age groups:
π Older Group: born 2011β2015
π Younger Group: born 2015β2019
Training is adapted according to the age, development stage and skill level of each group, allowing both developing and more experienced players to train in an appropriately challenging environment.
Every camp day includes two on-ice training sessions, giving players plenty of opportunities to improve the technical foundations of their game.
Training focuses on areas such as:

A special feature of the 2027 program is skating-technique training with Daniils Ignatjevs, adding additional focus on efficient movement, skating mechanics and individual technical improvement.
Players also complete two off-ice sessions every day.

The combination of ice and dryland work creates a complete development program rather than focusing only on puck skills.
The camp is supported by seven coaches each day, giving players access to regular instruction, supervision and feedback.
Kidshockey.lv is a licensed hockey school with more than 15 years of experience developing young players. Its coaching philosophy combines skating, puck skills, physical development, tactical understanding, discipline and concentration.
The coaching staff includes former professional hockey players and experienced coaches who have worked with athletes progressing toward Latvian junior and senior national-team pathways.
The camp takes place at the Valmiera Olympic Centre, where the ice rink, training facilities and accommodation are located within the same sports complex.

The camp includes six nights of hotel accommodation and four meals per day, helping players focus fully on training and recovery throughout the week.

Additional recreational activities may include table tennis, beach volleyball, board games and group activities, giving players time to relax and socialize between training sessions.
Participation is limited to 24 players per session, creating a focused camp environment with a strong balance between intensive hockey development and the complete residential summer-camp experience.
